π Top-50 Investor Panel
The investors behind the Distance score, ranked 1-50. One ranked list: the panel sizes customers can choose (10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50) simply slice it. Built the hybrid way β a curated core of proven stock-pickers, screened by assets for the rest.
Source: SEC Form 13F filings (quarterly). Distance = 100 Γ (1 - holders / panel size), so scores are comparable within a panel size, not across sizes.

Quant / index-flagged firms hold thousands of names, so 'held' is a weaker signal for them and distances compress toward the middle. They are included by the asset screen; the panel can drop them. Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb is flagged differently: the adviser has filed no Form 13F since 2018 (its holdings are published through its funds), so wider panels run without it and /sid discloses the gap on the block.
